
Julie Chrysosferidis, Ph.D
A Georgia native, Dr. Julie Chrysosferidis received her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Washington State University. She completed her internship at Hershel “Woody” Williams VAMC in Huntington, WV and her postdoctoral fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Chrysosferidis is passionate about using evidence-based treatments such as exposure, acceptance and commitment (ACT), and cognitive-behavioral-based therapies (CBT) to address PTSD, anxiety and mood-related disorders. She aims to provide therapy that is warm, compassionate, and supportive of the values expressed by her patients. Dr. Chrysosferidis is a certified PE consultant (through the Emory Healthcare Veterans’ PE Consultation Program) and happy to train others in administering prolonged exposure to their patients with PTSD.
